Jakarta, December 23, 2025 – Altea BLVD, a residential development developed by Astra Land Indonesia (ALI) and Sinar Mas Land, achieved its first milestone by winning the Best Greenship Performance Neighborhood award at the 2025 Greenship Awards held by the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) on Friday, December 5th 2025.
With green building certification growing at 15 percent annually in Indonesia1, this recognition from the GBCI positions Altea BLVD as a developer demonstrating its commitment to sustainability through tangible impact, not just on paper. The Best Greenship Performance category reflects the shift in focus in the property industry, from merely possessing a green certification to demonstrating performance that delivers concrete benefits for residents and the environment.
Vania Ariyani, Altea BLVD Head of Sales, who attended the awards ceremony, stated that this achievement demonstrates Altea BLVD’s real impact in supporting the transformation towards a greener and healthier environment. “What's most important to us is the tangible impact that Altea BLVD residents and the surrounding community will feel. A healthy environment begins from the small acts of everyday experiences, and this standard helps us ensure that every development truly delivers long-term benefits.”
As a Platinum Greenship Neighborhood GBCI-certified residential project, Altea BLVD is considered successful in providing a residential environment that is not only environmentally friendly, but also comfortable and healthy. The connectivity, comfort, and health criteria, which are the main focus of the Best Greenship Performance Neighborhood, are translated into a vibrant and functional green space concept, where open spaces, pathaways, and communal areas are designed to become part of residents' daily routines.
Altea BLVD implements a comprehensive approach to sustainable living through responsible wastewater and stormwater management. The 75-hectare area allocates up to 27 percent of its land area to green space, with Riverside Green as a sustainable greenway equipped with pedestrian walkways and jogging tracks to support the active lifestyles of its residents.
Vania added that this award reinforces Altea BLVD's goal of making sustainable living an experience, not just a concept. “We want everyone who lives at Altea BLVD to feel the difference immediately. Fresher air, more open spaces, and an environment that encourages them to be more active. This award proves our approach is the right one, and we will continue to maintain this standard in every development,” concluded Vania.
The award is a prestigious event that recognizes property industry players who consistently implement sustainable development practices in Indonesia. As a non-profit organization affiliated with the World Green Building Council network, GBCI continues to drive industry transformation through education programs, training, and a nationally recognized certification system.
As part of Astra Land Indonesia, Altea BLVD continues the commitment of Astra Land Indonesia and Sinarmas Land to providing housing that prioritizes quality of life, as well as environmental and long-term sustainability.
